The following is a list of some known problems with our software;
we are working to correct them for the next release.
 | Kintecus V3.962 - 12/30/2009 - |
 | Kintecus V3.96X has a bug when one tries to create the "Species Description
Worksheet" and the "Constant Pressure" setting located in the
"Parameter Spreadsheet" is set to "YES". The solution is to set the
"Constant Pressure" setting to "No", create your "Species
Description Worksheet", then set the "Constant Pressure" setting back to
"Yes". Naturally, if your reactions are not running in Constant Pressure, then
leave the "Constant Pressure" to "No". |
 | Kintecus V3.96 - 9/12/2009 - |
 | The 3.961 Beta Linux version has a bug with reactions that have more than three (3)
products. The Windows 3.962 version should be okay |
 | Kintecus V3.7 - Sat Mar 26, 2005

 | 1) The temperature changes during volume compressions
and expansions relied mainly on the chemical reactions.
A pv^(gamma) temperature correction has been added to
the temperature calculation. The idea gas value of 1.4
which is normally used is NOT USED in this case, but
gamma is calculated from the thermodynamic database.
2) For the heat-source field located in the
parameter spreadsheet. If you provided a thermal conductivity
followed by an external heat-jacket temperature (ie 0.1:298 )
in that field, Kintecus would interpret 0:1:298 for
an external heat-source perturbation file and not two
separate numbers and would quit with a fatal error. This
is fixed.
*EXCEL NOTE: if you type two whole numbers for the heat source
field (ie, 2:298), Excel will interpret that value as a time
value and assign a Julian-excel-time-date-decimal. You have
to convert that field to a Text field in order to prevent Excel
from doing this.
